Just emailed with Jennifer and it will be September 10-14 - they are working on the "save the date" postcards now...

Can't wait to see everyone and hope y'all are having a nice winter. It was 7 below here this morning...

Merry Christmas to all...

It's a little early, but wanted to wish you all the happiest of holiday seasons. I have made my move to Chicago and am getting a taste of what real winter is like :) but the snow has been beautiful and it's much easier to be in the Christmas sprit here than in Florida.

I'll be in Atlanta so maybe some of us will cross paths...but that would probably mean we were at a mall, so let's hope not!

Jen's baby is here! Spencer Baily Geist

In case you didn't get it - here's the announcement email.

Jen and I are thrilled to announce that Spencer was born this morning at 11:25 EDT
He weighed 7lbs. 15oz and was 21 inches long. He had to spend his first day in the transitional nursery but we are expecting him to be delivered to our room any minute now (10:39). Jen is eager to hold him for the first time!

Book recommendation - if you haven't read it already, go and get Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge. It is a really wonderful book about the woman's soul and not one of those about taking time out for yourself, blah blah blah (as if we could). It's written in a fun way that's very direct - I think you guys would like it so enjoy!

Headed to Chicago tomorrow to see my man after 3 weeks of apartness - very excited about that!

So very grateful to be back in touch with my "road dogs!" Had an amazing time at camp and miss it (and all of you) tremendously. What a first day home....Michael was on call for work & we got several calls throughout the night,then Alyssa & Aidan decided to have a meltdown in the middle of our grocery shopping at Kroger. Aaaarrrgghh!!!!! Thank God I still have camp songs reverberating in my head.
